Well, Christmas 2013 was fabulous and I received my much coveted Laduree Sucre recipe book, which I am very pleased with! More than anything though, we finally got to reap the benefits of our hard work in renovating the house. In the pictures below you can see the original floor boards, finally sanded and varnished which was SUCH hard work. And the table painted in Annie Sloan Paris Grey and the dresser which is painted in Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue, the glass was replaced with chicken wire and also painted in Paris Grey. I dressed the Christmas Tree with a selection of glass baubles from Marks and Spencer and john Lewis (all bought in the sale!) and home made clay tags. I also added some strings of faux pearls that I was keeping around for craft projects. As Bohemian Sunday are hoping to supply tableware this year, I must also share the Christmas Prawn Cocktail which I would never, ever enjoy Christmas without! The fork is actually a pastry fork designed by Laurence Llewellyn Bowen for Arthur Price. However, the glass bowl and champagne glass are both vintage.
